Description
PR-1426 has been discontinued. A possible alternative could be P/S 860 Class B.
PR-1426, a quick repair aircraft integral fuel tank sealant. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material is designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.
A two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide compound is PR-1426. The uncured material can be applied using a brush or an extrusion gun. This sealant forms a robust sealant after curing at temperatures above 20°F (-7°C). In addition, it adheres to typical aircraft substrates quite well when properly primed with PR-1426 Adhesion Promoter.
Adhesion Promoter is included with sealant
