Description
A sealant with low cohesive strength is PR-1429 Class B. It can withstand temperatures as low as -65°F (-54°C) and as high as 250°F (121°C), with sporadic excursions up to 300°F (149°C). This substance is intended for depression filling and smoothing or butt sealing between aircraft interior floorboards. Even after extensive contact with aviation gas and jet fuel, the cured sealant has good elastomeric qualities.
Permapol® P-5 polysulfide PR-1429 Class B is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured product. The raw material is a thin, low-sag paste that can be applied with a spatula or extrusion gun. This sealant adheres to typical aircraft substrates very well.

Before using this product, read and understand the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), which provides information on health, physical and environmental hazards, handling precautions, and first aid recommendations. An SDS is available on request. Avoid overexposure. Obtain medical care in case of extreme overexposure.

- Semkit® package - a complete package assembly that stores, mixes, and applies sealant. Semkit® packages eliminates the labor intensive task of measuring and. handling materials, and prevents contamination when opening and closing can kits.
- Model 654 Semkit® with 3-1/2 fl. oz. of sealant in a 6 oz. cartridge
- Model 655 Semkit® with 2 fl. oz. of sealant in a 2-1/2 oz. cartridge
- Other packaging configurations may be available.
