Description
PR-187 is an adhesion promoter to enhance the coupling characteristics of polythioether compounds to a wide variety of substrates.
This adhesion promoter is recommended when a PR-1800 polythioether sealant is applied over a polysulfide material. PR-187 is a one-part compound suitable for application by brush or clean gauze. The material dries at room temperature in approximately 30 minutes.
Storage Life
The storage life of PR-187 adhesion promoter is at least 9 months when stored at temperatures below 80°F (27°C) in original, unopened containers. The material is hygroscopic and must be kept free of moisture. It should be discarded if it becomes cloudy.
