Description

PR-1783 is a fast-curing sealant used in applications requiring brushing, filleting, and interface sealing over a temperature range of -55°C to +135°C. PR-1783 offers exceptional resistance to lubricating oils, airplane fuels, and hydraulic oils of the phosphate ester type.

A two-part polysulfide compound with manganese curing is called PR-1783. The uncured material has excellent slump properties and is a thick liquid that may be applied with a brush, roller, or extrusion gun. Even after extensive exposure to airplane fuels, the cured material keeps its superb elastomeric characteristics.
